High Skilled Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking driven, highly skilled engineers with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the automotive, marine or aerospace industry. 

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of engineering, design, and manufacturing processes, possess proficiency in CAD software and be able to produce engineering drawings.

Additionally, the candidate should have good communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers. As a CudaJet Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and testing cutting-edge water propulsion products, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Note: It’s not essential to cover all responsibilities, experience/skills as there will be a certain amount of cross-over with other applicants.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise your expertise in manufacturing processes to optimise product designs for efficiency and performance.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings using CAD software, adhering to industry standards and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough design analysis, simulations, and prototyping to validate and optimise designs.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure seamless integration of components and efficient production processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams during the manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Identify and resolve any engineering-related issues during the product development lifecycle.

Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the automotive, marine or aerospace industry working to standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) for creating designs and engineering drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, 3D printing, plastic moulding, and assembly.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and specifications related to automotive, marine and aerospace engineering.
  • Good knowledge of equipment including 3D printers. 
  • Experience in verifying designs through testing.
  • Strong understanding of product assemblies to ISO standards.
  • Good understanding of production systems.
  • Experience in BOM management.

Import/Export Logistics

Job Overview:

We are looking for an Import/Export Logistics Coordinator to join CudaJet. In this full-time position, you will manage international shipments, coordinating air, road, and sea freight. Responsibilities include preparing hazardous goods, liaising with logistics teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely cargo dispatch, managing documentation, communicating with customers and overseas offices, obtaining export quotations, and producing reports.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, expertise in handling dangerous goods like Lithium Cells, and strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating jobs from start to finish, Air, Road and Sea freight with a majority focus on Air Exports.
  • To clearly understand the demands of shipping hazardous goods via Air whilst generating the relevant paperwork for consignments of this nature
  • Liaising with the logistics team, clients, overseas partners, and suppliers to arrange quick dispatch of cargo.
  • Ensure timely bookings of Air freight forwarding on the customer's behalf.
  • Understand local customs/shipping laws for various exports. 
  • Prepare documentation including data entry in accordance to the Country's requirements
  • Ongoing communication with customers within the UK and overseas offices regarding the movement of shipments.
  • Preparation of certificates of origin, cargo manifest, customs clearance documentation, hazardous material and any other documentation required for the processing of goods internationally.
  • Obtain up-to-date quotations for export locations.
  • Produce basic reports for internal use. 

Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience. 
  • Experience in Dangerous Goods, specifically Lithium Cells for Air freight.

Job Overview:

We are looking for Assembly Operations Manager/Technician to join CudaJet. In this full-time position, you will oversee various sub-assemblies to ISO standards. 

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in automotive, marine or aerospace assemblies, have good communication and strong organisational skills, proficient cad skills and an understanding of 3D printing.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality-focused, embed a right-first-time approach within assemblies.
  • Assembly/testing of rigs/jigs and fixtures
  • Oversee a number of different sub-assemblies with set production times.
  • Perform certain hands-on assembly/manufacturing tasks. 
  • Log full traceability of parts and assemblies.
  • detailed engineering drawings using CAD software, adhering to industry standards and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough design analysis, simulations, and prototyping to validate and optimise designs.
  • Work closely with the team for inventory management to ensure seamless integration of components and efficient production processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams during the manufacturing and assembly processes.
